Damien Dematra, renowned in Indonesia for his many talents, is aiming to break the guinness World Record for the fastest movie production from writing to premiere. The film will be produced in collaboration with a well-known and respected Hollywood Director of Photography. Additionally, famous Indonesian actors such as Ayu Azhari and Dorce Gamalama have already agreed to play in the movie.
We would like this movie to act as a catalyst for and inspiration to Indonesian children and the community to strive and aspire to exellence despite circumstances. Additionally, we plan to give even more back to the community by donating a portion of the proceeds to the Komodo Dragon Foundation (www.komododragonfoundation.org).
Story Line : The Basics movie premise will tell the story of a child who is inspired by the Obama statue, which has been placed at the school. Despite high hopes and dreams, there are trials and tribulations in trying to achieve those dreams amidst his/her family's hardships, and how he/she manages to overcome thos obstacles.
The exact storyline has not been written, as this part of the process, leaving the movie open to many plotline possibilities.
Shooting is planned from march l 15 to 24, 2011.
